The project of the village "Serafim" in the Murmansk region for 300-400 residents.
The settlement with an area of 15 hectares accommodates 77 plots, which is located in the Murmansk region, near the city of Murmansk, next to Cape Seraphim. The settlement is designed for a research complex for the study of the Arctic. Namely , the study of waters, the study of climate change, the study of the ecosystem of waters, the protection and conservation of natural resources of the Arctic. The village is washed by the Barents Sea, and two nearby islands block strong currents to create a port. Access to the ice-free port makes it possible to conduct expeditions to the Arctic, simplifies the road to Murmansk, where scientific organizations are located. The architecture is designed with the wind rose in mind. The building forms enclosed spaces that block the wind flows and creates a favorable environment for life. The village is equipped with park areas, public spaces, playgrounds. An embankment, a square, where views of the northern landscapes are opened, has also been developed.
